Dear CAHN Members
Well we have another wonderful
conference behind us. From everything I have heard so far and from
reading your feedback, the Reno Conference was truly a success and a big
hit. Your CAHN Board worked extremely hard, as they always do, to put on
an exceptional training opportunity for everyone. We had some wonderful
speakers, and everyone seemed to enjoy the venue. I also want to thank
all of you for your generous contribution for the high school. They were
truly thankful for your generosity. I am proud to be part of such a great
family with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

As we continue to work from
day to day, we see many events unfolding in our world, country, state and
communities. However, closer to home, our thoughts are with the law
enforcement partners who are directly involved in the rescue and recovery
efforts caused by all the recent chaos. Our thoughts and prayers go out
to all the agencies dealing with the Vegas shooting and the fires all over
California. My hope is that we can bring a little bit of peace to all of

for CAHN members. The Northern Region will host a training in Chico,
California on November 2, 2017. The Southern Region will host a training
on December 7, 2017 in Temecula, California.
Our annual elections nominations
have closed. Please be sure to vote in
the upcoming elections; this is your opportunity to have a voice in the
selection of members to serve on the board for the next two years. Good
